Action and adventure, but on the light side. Here is the opportunity to really experience the beauty and wonderment of Costa Rica in a safe, easy-to-handle full day tour. The Braulio Carrillo Canopy Tour is a safe, supervised canopy tour that is exciting in every way.
The rain forest Aerial tram is on the Eastern flank of Braulio Carrillo National Park. You will enjoy your ride in a safe, gliding gondola that will take you on a two level tour of the rain forest canopy (tree tops). The ride traverses a lush valley, then climbs a small mountain. The scenery is awesome and you will enjoy the closeness of Costa Rican nature. On the way up the mountain, you will ride just a few feet off the ground, then on the return trip the ride is through the treetops as much 170 feet high. Each gondola carries up to four passengers and a bilingual guide. All guides are equipped with walkie-talkies, so if one spots a sloth they all know where to point it out to you as you pass by.
Braulio Carrillo offers a several miles of excellent hiking trails, and the Braulio Carrillo guides are provided on these walks. All are included, including the canopy ride, with the tour price.
For a great day on the ground, in the air, through the trees, and in complete touch with nature, this is a wonderful tour for visitors of all ages. A delicious lunch is included for all. |
