What a great tour this is! A combination of events is offered including hiking on beautiful Costa Rican trails, receiving a full presentation of the forest wild life and nature, and enjoying the challenging adventures of zip lines.
The tour begins with a very interesting, narrated, hike through the forest The hike is short, but full of facts about the wildlife and beauty of Costa Rica. Upon reaching the zip line area, you will experience the thrill of climbing the first platform, being tethered to a zip line, and soaring over the lush tropical forest below.
La Carpintera features well over a mile of cable divided into 10 different lengths. Only the highest quality equipment is used, which is continuously inspected for your safety. There are abundant nature trails and, rappelling areas throughout La Carpintera, and this will be an afternoon of pure delight.
Your afternoon would not be complete without a great Costa Rican lunch in the Hacienda Chirraca Restaurant, where you will have the opportunity to see videos of yourself taken by the staff.
